Hello April!

Hello Everyone, another month is here! Every new month is a new chance to be happy, make memories and draw up new plans.

April is here! This is a vital celebration month such as December is with Christmas.

What is in for us this month?

With schools closed, this is the time of the year, we get to celebrate Easter. This is not restricted by religion or faith, but everyone gets to do something out of the norm. The Easter holiday is an important season, especially for Christians. They commemorate the suffering, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The celebration begins on Good Friday and ends on Easter Monday. The celebrations normally include church attendance.

The season is also celebrated with a symbol of eggs ‘Easter eggs’. The Easter eggs are said to symbolize the empty tomb that was left behind when Jesus rose from the dead. This Easter egg symbol has been attributed to other pagan practices.

For the others, they opt to go out of their way and help the vulnerable or less fortunate in the society. This may be part of the organization you work or school you go to or a group of friend(s) initiative.

Others go out for Easter related events such as Easter egg hunts. These events such as Easter egg hunt or Easter painting enable people to reconnect and have fun.

In addition to Easter eggs, Easter bunnies are also part of the Easter celebrations. These are exciting especially for kids.  At times it involves children baking goods -like cookies and other pastries shaped like bunnies.

  4. Cover your hair with a shower cap on a plastic bag for 10-20 minutes.
  5. Rinse our hair with warm water and style as desired.

Ingredients

  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 chopped avocado
  • 2 tablespoons of water
  • Mixing bowl
  1. In the mixing bowl, combine the chopped avocado and egg yolk.
  2. Add 2 tablespoons of water and mix well till you get a paste-like solution
  3. Apply the mixture on dry damaged hair and massage into the scalp.
  4. Cover your hair with a shower cap on a plastic bag for 10-20 minutes.
  5. Rinse our hair with warm water and style as desired.

Home Remedy for Dry Hands: Honey

Having dry hands is normal especially for those that use their arms for hard labor but it might be disturbing to some people. Other than using hand gloves, there are natural ways or remedies for dry and rough hands.

Here is a remedy that will kiss goodbye to dry and rough hands.

Ingredients

  • Honey
  • Olive oil or coconut oil
  • Lemon juice (optional)
  • Warm water

Steps

  1. Pour a table-spoon of honey into a clean mixing cup
  2. Add a table-spoon of olive oil or coconut into the honey, stir till you get a consistent mixture.
  3. With already clean hands, apply the mixture on your hands.
  4. Leave for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Rinse with warm water and pat dry your hands.
  6. Then apply your favorite moisturizing cream

Repeat this procedure a few times a week to maintaining the hydrated, young, smooth and free of dryness.
