Hello Everyone, another month is here! Every new month is a new chance to be happy, make memories and draw up new plans.
April is here! This is a vital celebration month such as December is with Christmas.
What is in for us this month?
With schools closed, this is the time of the year, we get to celebrate Easter. This is not restricted by religion or faith, but everyone gets to do something out of the norm. The Easter holiday is an important season, especially for Christians. They commemorate the suffering, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The celebration begins on Good Friday and ends on Easter Monday. The celebrations normally include church attendance.
The season is also celebrated with a symbol of eggs ‘Easter eggs’. The Easter eggs are said to symbolize the empty tomb that was left behind when Jesus rose from the dead. This Easter egg symbol has been attributed to other pagan practices.
For the others, they opt to go out of their way and help the vulnerable or less fortunate in the society. This may be part of the organization you work or school you go to or a group of friend(s) initiative.
Others go out for Easter related events such as Easter egg hunts. These events such as Easter egg hunt or Easter painting enable people to reconnect and have fun.
In addition to Easter eggs, Easter bunnies are also part of the Easter celebrations. These are exciting especially for kids. At times it involves children baking goods -like cookies and other pastries shaped like bunnies.
May your last months’ failures be your successes this month.
Loving yourself is the greatest gift that you can give yourself. I know at times it might be hard especially when you are facing challenges and nothing seems to go right. Don’t be too hard on yourself.
Here are top six reasons to love yourself:
- You are 300% unique. I know I went overboard but you are unique. There is no else who has your smile or your laugh.
- Accepting yourself in your impact skin feels great. Self-love enables you to get a feeling of contentment and boost self-acceptance.
- You have been blessed with your skin, so wear it comfortably.
- Law of attraction is real. If you love yourself, you also attract people who love you as well.
- “Hate is too great of a burden to bear,” Martin Luther King, Jr. said. Lighten up and love you all the way.
- People come in and out of your life, and what are you left with? YOU. Coping alone is best with self –love.
It’s not a requirement that people love you but it is a blessing if they do. Everything springs from self-love.
Love x Love,
December is here and I take this opportunity to wish you all Happy New month and Festive season. I know this month is abit hectice for most people. We all want to end the end in style. On this note, we also need to be reflective.

What do you still need to accomplish?
If your answers are Yes. Congratulations to you.
If your answers are No. My friend its never to late. Get up and make a step to achieve your set goals for the year. There is always room for improvement and You have about 30 days to do it.
Hope the month goes well for you guys.
The elections are over, the president is known. Now what’s next; is the question.
Many are worried about what tomorrow holds with the new regime and the results that are yet to come. One thing that is clear is that things don’t always have to turnout the way we want or expect them to.
Here are some things to take home;
- The anxiety will pass
- There is always something good in the oven.
- And lastly, life is too short to be worried of things you have no control over.
- Instead of worrying; spend some time in making some adjustments and be happy.
Today is Mandela day. 18th July in 2010 was declared as ‘Mandela day” by the United Nations. This day was set aside to commemorate the life of Nelson Mandela which was his actual birthday. Today we celebrate his 94th birthday. In addition to celebrating his life, it is also important to note that each individual has the power to transform the world.
I leave with one of Mandela’s famous quotes: Take action, Inspire Change.
